Arrowhead Metropolitan District (AMD)
About the Arrowhead Metropolitan District
The AMD, organized in 1981, is a quasi-municipal corporation and a political subdivision of the state of Colorado. It is directed by a homeowner elected* five-member Board. (*Arrowhead Homeowners who are Colorado residents can vote in these elections) The AMD receives its funding through resident property taxes and the Arrowhead local sales tax.
The AMD provides the following services:
Construction, maintenance and repair of streets, roads, specific street lighting and storm water drainage
Installation and maintenance of all traffic signs
Snow removal services for roads, streets, parking lots and common areas
Transportation Services within the community
Domestic Water Service through the Upper Eagle River Water Authority
Mosquito control
Playground facilities and maintenance

Required Notice Pursuant to House Bill 23-1105 – HOA and Metropolitan District Homeowners’ Rights Task Force
House Bill 23-1105 created the HOA and Metropolitan District Homeowners’ Rights Task Forces to examine certain matters in communities that are governed by these entities. The Metropolitan District Homeowners’ Rights Task Force will review, among other matters, tax levying authority and practices, foreclosure practices, communications with homeowners and governance policies. A requirement of the new law is that we notify you of the creation and existence of the Metropolitan District Homeowners’ Rights Task Force prior to its first meeting. Public Notice Arrowhead Metropolitan District
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Subsection 32-1-207(3)(b), C.R.S., as amended, that the Board of Directors of the Arrowhead Metropolitan District provides Notice that it currently owns and maintains roadways and it intends to adopt and enforce regulations with respect to the use of such roadways pursuant to §32-1-1001(1)(h), C.R.S., and any person who objects to enforcement of such regulations must bring an action to enjoin.
Any action to enjoin such activity as a material departure from the Service Plan must be brought within 45 days from publication of notice.

BY THE DESIGNATED ELECTION OFFICIAL FOR THE ARROWHEAD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Arrowhead Metropolitan District, Eagle County, Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third (63rd) day before the election or thereafter there were not more candidates for Director than offices to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; therefore, the election to be held on May 2, 2023, is hereby cancelled.
The following candidates are declared elected:

Robert Stephen McPhetridge 2 Year Term until May 2025
